The Cederberg mountains are located near Clanwilliam, approximately 300km north of Cape Town, South Africa. The mountain range is named after the endangered Clanwilliam cedar.
Two notable landmarks include the Maltese Cross and Wolfberg Arch.
The Wolfberg Arch is a wind-carved sandstone formation and is possibly the largest natural beauty of its kind in South Africa, and stands in an area of great beauty.
The Maltese cross is a 5-story rock formation that stands alone on the barren flat escarpment in the Cederberg.
